La flamme olympique est arrivée aujourd’hui à Londres. Ce passage par la capitale britannique a été marqué par de nombreux incidents, dont 35 arrestations, le long du parcours. Des manifestations parfois violentes, mais ‘qui n’ont pas fait de bléssés‘ a indiqué Scotland Yard.

Une centaine de manifestants ont tenté de bloquer la progression de la flamme olypique sur Fleet Street, dans la City. Par ailleurs alors que le parcours commençait à peine, deux personnes ont essayé d’éteindre la flamme aux moyens d’extincteurs. Puis, une autre personne, dans un incident séparé, a tenté de subtiliser la torche aux mains du porteur. Il a été arrêté avant de pouvoir s’en emparer.

La flamme est attendue vers 18h30 à Greenwich, à l’Est de Londres.
